I was lucky enough to enjoy an escorted tour of the west coast of Canada.

I flew into Calgary, travelled through the Rockies via Banff and Jasper ending up in Vancouver and Victoria – it really was as amazing as it looks in the pictures.

• Escorted tour was a great way to see this part of Canada
• You get the insight from a local guide and explore so many sites without having to drive or worry about where to next, you can just take in all the spectacular scenery
• Take layers in terms of clothes as you will experience varying degrees of temperature
• Comfortable shoes are a must
• Binoculars for the super wildlife spotting.
