This was a new destination I visited last year and I fell in love with its rolling hills, pretty coves and stunning views, Antigua is a picture-perfect island with a wonderfully laid-back vibe. I can certainly see why I have customers that return year after year.

There are 365 beaches visit as many as you can! My personal favourite was at Galley Bay where if your lucky you may see some turtles hatching
Visit Shirley Heights – Steel pan and live band with bbq and drinks – the perfect evening with breathtaking views it’s well worth the climb!
Hire a car and go explore the island, I’d recommend a 4×4 as there’s some mighty big pot holes
Go see the Naval history at Nelson’s Dockyard, where the great admiral sheltered his warships in the late 18th Century.
The island has something for everyone perfect for a honeymoon, romantic sunsets or an adventurous lively getaway!

Antigua has a hot, tropical climate with refreshing breezes from the trade winds and warm temperatures year round. Wet season runs from mid June – mid November it’s still hot but you can have short spells of heavy rain.. do watch out for the humidity in August & September (one for the ladies to worry about their hair 😆)

The flight is only just over 8.5 hours and a direct daily service is available from London Gatwick with British Airways or 4 times a week from London Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic
