My Recommendations

As a minimum I would recommend a stay of 3 nights if not a little longer because with travel time and adjusting to the time difference you will appreciate taking your time to take in it all that Hong Kong has to offer whilst you are there, I did 4 nights and could of easily stayed longer before we travelled onto Borneo.  We did a half day excursion each day to ensure that we experienced all we could but not be exhausted.

What I Loved Most

Hong Kong is a captivating tapestry of wonders that seamlessly weaves together the old and the new. Nestled between soaring skyscrapers that create a dazzling skyline, the city exudes an energy that is both invigorating and enchanting. From the vibrant markets of Mong Kok to the serene beauty of Victoria Peak, every corner reveals a new facet of this metropolis. Being a foody the culinary scene was a symphony of flavours, offering everything from delectable street food for those brave enough to Michelin-starred dining experiences. I was blown away by the easiness of its transport system, from the pristine underground to The Star Ferry connecting Kowloon to Hong Kong Island across the stunning Victoria Harbour.  I loved taking the cable car to Lantau island where we climbed the steps of the Big Buddha and visited the temple.  Hong Kong is not merely a destination; it's an immersive experience, a celebration of diversity, and a testament to the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity.

Best Time To Travel

The overall best time to visit Hong Kong is from October through to December, which is Hong Kong's late Autumn and early Winter. During this time, you'll experience great weather, with temperatures around 80 degrees in October to high 60's in December. However, I went in May and we did experience downpours but it definitely did not take way any enjoyment from the visit.
